I found a vacation house on VRBO. I started to reserve, as soon as I entered my credit card info Equity Residences charged my card. This was before I reviewed the contract and signed. The contract was not the same as the advertisement, and I also had a personal issue come up so I cancelled my reservation. It has been 3 weeks and they refuse to respond to my emails and they have not refunded my $12,000. My recommendation is to stay away from Equity Residences!
