Called. Asked how much an STI test was. Representative said, in a very vacant voice, "I dunno". I asked what documents I needed to bring in order to use my insurance. She said "I dunno" again. Not really sure what she's getting paid for if she can't answer basic questions. Do the people who work at this place know how to read? Can they chew and swallow food without help?
Overpriced and not military friendly. I was looking for a clinic that accepted tricare and their clinic was one of the places that was suggested, but I ended up having over 200 USD billed even with tricare to establish primary care and some labs. Furthermore, I had a difficult time reaching out to ask for my prescription as it was not added to my pharmacy. I’ve never felt so nonchalantly dismissed by a provider as I was today. I’ve been going to a LGBTQ clinic in Florida who’s helped me get my anxiety, depression, and low-testosterone in check. The NP here at my appointment today was dismissive, and when reading my medications said “oh that’s not for you, you don’t need that” and “I’m not prescribing that it’s only for ___”. I am fed up dealing with these people's bs. I called last week to get back to being a client with them basically I was first told that I was never a client with equitas health before. I was just under my birth name what the disrespect. I am then told to become a client I need to set up my chart and go through that. I could not get that to work. Never got the email.
