I have been in this program for over 4 months now, and I feel like I need to share what this program has done for me in case there are others who are thinking of giving it a try but are hesitant to take that first step. I attended Equip from January 2025 to December 2025. I’m 37 and have had my ED for my entire adult life, and recovery never felt like a realistic possibility to me. The program helped me put words to my ED patterns and understand what was actually driving them. The structure and support made it easier to talk about things I’d never really had to talk about before. My daughter spent four months with Equip Health. My advice is to avoid this program. It is a very passive intervention. My daughter lost significant weight, and the program documentation was showing that she is gaining. This program just creates meetings to be able to check box and charge insurance. If you challenge the program, they will respond that there is limitation for virtual. My daughter indicated meeting was artificial and they try to show that your situation is better than actual reality. My daughter reached critic... read more
