Luxurious gym Tom Cruise used to go to this gym.. so you can figure that they are going to be treating their customers good! well, they do!!! the whole day, I didn't even feel like the pain of exercising because you feel so comfortable in this gym. They can take your care and wash it for you as well!! They have everything from spa to really cool classes... but the price is steep!!!
Run for the Hills! or another Club Do not complain to the GM if you have problems. He will just tell you that you are not a good fit for the club. I complained about the bad customer service.
Is it really worth the money? I've been a member of SCLA for quite a while, and I've got to admit that it's the cleanest, best kept club in this City; but it is really expensive, and personally, I'm no fan of their classes. I find them to be repetetive and boring. The classes that I find interesting are always cancelled by the time I get to the club even if I check ahead of time. Gym Rat I have been into fitness for years...The truth is ..I was a Jazz Dancer for many...Worked out with the best and later joined different clubs to find one that really worked...The staff of the Sports Club LA is great....The cleaniest club for sure... I'll Stay Where I Am, Thanks! I'm glad to see all of these reviews of the Sports LA club. I was considering moving from Bodies in Motion on Bundy and Olympic to another club but for $100 less per month...and customer service that is pretty good compared to what I'm seeing here. I think i'll stick with BIM! In this day and age, nobody should be settling for some blowhard "RAY"?...who thinks he's better than the big bucks customers are paying every month. Great gym, great classes, great overall I love the Sports Club LA. They have the best classes and I always get motivated to push my work out when I go there. They also make good smoothies and good healthy food in the cafeteria. PROS: CONS: very expensive, you have to pay for parking
nothing to go home to mom about... way too expensive (i paid 175/month for the basic membership). The amenities are few and not worth the hype or price. Awesome I've been a member for a couple months now, and I continue to be impressed with the service and accomodations. Equipment is clean and new, staff is helpfull and friendly, and I've never had to wait for anything. The price is a bit high, but as with everything in life, you get what you pay for.... and they're open 7 days a week now! PROS: New, clean equipment. Friendly staff. Convenient location CONS: No basketball/raquetball court or indoor track.
