My 86 yr old mother was admitted to level 1. Room was just ok. Staff brilliant. The following day she was moved to Ground level without warning or even a conversation. Staff also wonderful. Room 50 is what you might expect in a 3rd world public hospital. Both my parents have paid top tier cover their entire lives. I have been a nurse for over 30 years & worked in all sorts of environments but this room takes to cake . It was DISGRACEFULLY dirty. Chips in the paint on the walls & doors. I had my baby at Epworth Freemasons in Jan and the midwives were incredibly supportive and compassionate throughout the process. I’m especially grateful to my doctor, Dr. Affie Tourani, who was truly exceptional. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care I received during my recent surgery.
