Spent two weeks following back surgery in the rehab. Was looked after well by Dr Leong. The Nurses were very empathetic and very professional. The Physiotherapists Tara, Bridget and Jack All helped me very much. Food was good. On the whole was very well looked after. Compassionate and Good Service Thanks for your service.
Attended excellent cardio rehab program here. Tram along Bourke Road East handy. Cafe on ground floor is good.
Stayed there overnight. Very dated, old blankets, terrible pillow, noisy airconditioning, very basic breakfast. Dont want to go there ever again.
The best valium dispensary in the town, 60mg/day starting dose! Don't dare speak up about it being too high though, that's for the public scene. Was also prescribed a med I'm allergic to and told to either take it or leave. Worst psychiatrist I've ever had. She did admit being new to Australia and usually working public, but this was disgusting. Healthcare charter of rights? Pfft, just a suggestion mate. Chief psychiatrist guidelines? Pfft, what guidelines?
I have been here for 3 days for physio after a total knee replacement. The physiotherapists have been great and nurses mostly very good. What I do have a problem with is the lack of communication between Dr and nurses. Just trying to get my meds at the right time has been problematic. Failed completely today with the result that I was unable to do my therapy due to pain killers not given in time. The rooms are small which would not be a problem if they were better designed.
