Dr Hu is a great dentist, our family has been visiting for years and he has consistently delivered a high level of professionalism and care.
My mum had a really bad experience with dr Steven Hu. 1. He didn’t explain any different ways of treatment and directly jumped to the root canal treatment without telling us the price and treatment plan. 2. After the first treatment, he said my mum needed to come back another two times and the total process would be between $900 to $1000, later on we asked her to clarify exactly how much, he gave me a price over $1000 (1200 to 1300) 3. I had a completely absurd experience at this dental office. After waiting for half an hour, they finally told me they lost my appointment—no apology, nothing. They just casually asked if I wanted to reschedule. To top it off, there wasn’t even a receptionist at the front desk. If you value your time and sanity, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place.
This was the most infuriating and unprofessional experience I’ve ever had at a dental clinic. I scheduled a cleaning for August 9, 2024, at 6:30 PM, and personally confirmed this on June 26, 2024. When I arrived, there was absolutely no one at the front desk. I waited in the lobby for a full 30 minutes with no acknowledgment, no updates, nothing. Finally, at 7:00 PM, the dentist shows up.
