Excessive fees and horrible customer service. I set up a solo 401k with Secure Trust 401k (eplan services) and it was one of the most frustrating experiences of the year. Over a 6 month period, they charged me almost $1k in admin fees. I terminated my plan, which they dragged out to a 3 month process, and went with Fidelity who offers a no cost solo 401k and great customer service.
They have been great for our company's 401K for the past several years
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This company is littered with hidden fees and false information. They will try and nickel and dime you out of any 401k savings.
Keep getting statements for people that previously (over 2 years ago) occupied my office. I have contacted Eplan at least 3 times asking them to not send the former tenant's statements to me and research where the company or individuals moved. Still getting statements. Really poor follow up on EPlan's part.
