I was contacted by a recruiter (Ryan) about an opportunity with Meta and had a strong initial conversation. I was told I would hear back within a few days, but there was no follow-up. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I received no meaningful update or closure. While initial outreach was positive, the lack of follow-through made the experience feel unprofessional. I had a frustrating experience with this agency while working with recruiter Emily Karns. She stated that she submitted my information to a client and that I would hear back, but no interview was ever scheduled and no feedback was provided. Although she reached out sporadically at first, there was never any follow-through or suggestion of alternative opportunities. Eventually, communication stopped entirely without explanation. One of the absolute WORST staffing agencies. I was laid off from an assignment due to budget cuts and was told I’d be able to speak with someone about another opportunity when I come in to return my equipment. I get there and the front desk guy is polite but he told me that was it. I said I was told my Brittany that I’d be able to speak with a recruiter about possibly getting assigned to another position but there was no follow up set with anyone. This is the place where your application just disappears. Your resume and information is used for Epitec to tell their clients "We have tons of candidates for your positions"... Nothing more nothing less.
