Working with Epique Homes and specifically the owner, Troy, was one of the most disappointing and stressful experiences we’ve had. After investing significant time and money into the planning process, we were forced to back out due to Epique being significantly over the original budget projections, which made moving forward impossible. They may build beautiful homes...but, they started a project on Lake Michigan frontage in our Montague community, without a permit. Many, many trees were removed in a sensitive area nearby a drain, our township supervisor had to field numerous calls in regards to tree removal and construction before there was any site plan put forward, and now our homes are literally shaking from the huge banging going on during the construction, which is a bit baffling.
