The folks at Epic Cycles are great! I compared a variety of brands at other shops including REI and found that the 2019 Kona Blast fit and rode the best for me. I’m 52 and wanted a bike that would be great for the greenways, rails to trails, and also do some single tracks at Tsali and Bent Creek. I went in 3 times asking questions before I bought. I recently bought a Kona Process from Epic. Good prices. Excellent customer service. No pressure to buy. Really wanted to support the local shop rather than going the online route. So glad I did. I highly recommend these guys!
Reallly awesome place near some of the coolest trails in the Asheville Black mountain area! They dropped everything to help me get back out on the trails with absolutely fantastic service.
Bought a 2017 Kona Honzo from Epic Cycles!! Josh has been super responsive and great to work with when bringing the bike in for service and upgrades. They are helpful and informative. Super happy with their service.

I just bought a sweet 2016 Jamis Renegade Exploit from Allan and his crew, and had an outstanding customer experience. Allan spent at least an hour with me on dealer sites to find a great deal on exactly the type of bike I was looking for (steel frame adventure/gravel). He worked his wheeling and dealing magic with the manufacturer to find a killer deal, and even ordered it in two sizes so I could try them both, with no commitment to buy either. Alan and the crew at Epic are old school awesome. Meaning they go above and beyond to take care of people. They got me parts overnight and called me the moment they arrived and barely charged me!! Amazing. And the shop is really, really nice. Check out their Jamis and Kona bikes and get your bike dialed!
