I recently moved to Ephrata and unfortunately had to call the ambulance. I would like to express my gratitude for the entire crew for treating me with patience, thoroughness, professionalism and most importantly with care. Thank you so much!
When an elderly person suffers a horrific fall, when EMTs are TOLD that the person thinks they broke their neck and can't move, what kind of EMT DOESN'T immobilize that person's neck before rolling them, with NO BACK NOR NECK SUPPORT, on to a bed sheet on the ground and lifting that person onto the gurney? What pure incompetence and callous disregard for human life does that display? The 2 EMTs from Ephrata Ambulance and their entire demeanor 4 months ago. That's who and what.
