Total garbage, don’t waste your time at Ephrata Asian Bistro. Most Asian spots nail at least a couple dishes, but every single thing I ordered here was terrible. The gyoza were soggy and under-fried, crab rangoons had stale filling, and the mango Thai curry was sickly sweet with zero balance. Nothing was fresh or flavorful, zero reasons to recommend this joint to anyone.
Busy Friday night and they have their elementary school aged children practically running the dining room and doing a horrible job. Guess saving money is more important than your business running smoothly, especially on the busiest night of the week, and more important than letting your kids be kids. There's also no wifi or cell service in the restaurant which makes waiting the half hour for to go orders even more unbearable. Guess that's too expensive too.
I have been a dedicated great customer since day 1. I was there on the soft opening years ago. Tonight, 6/8/2026, we were sat down at 8:56 pm. We were asked what we would like to drink. We replied our selections. The server, owner, started walking away for them and turned around abruptly to remind us that they close at 9:30. Given its 8:56 I thought it was strange. Excellent! Most Asian places do a few dishes well, however at Ephrata Asian Bistro everything I ordered was excellent (Gyoza, Crab Rangoon, Mango Thai). Highly recommend.
Stopped in for some takeout. Got the beef with mixed vegetables combo. Great flavor. A little lacking in the quantity of beef for the price it was ($12.75.) Yellow style fried rice which I like. Their rice does not include pork by default like many other chinese restaurants do. Very clean seating area with nice booths. I would try this spot again.
