Tammy N I lived in South Barre at two different apartments and have had no problems with E.P. Wine. They always stuck to their delivery schedule even during inclement weather. I find all their staff professional and courteous. No problems here with E.P. Wine
Above and Beyond the Call of Duty I used this company for almost 5 years when I lived in Barre. They delivered propane to my house. The driver would show up faithfully and always on schedule. He would either wave or smile and occasionally chat for a bit. One day, he really rescued me from a bad situation. My dog had gotten all tangled up in her runner. Honest, Committed Propane company As a long time resident of Barre, MA I have seen it all. I have been a propane customer of different companies in the area and none have even come close to comparing to E.P. Wine. I switched from E.P. Wine 1 year ago because R.J. McDonald offered me a lower price. After a year as a customer at R.J. they raised my price by 3.00 a gallon! Great Company E.P. Wine is a great company! I have been with them for years now. Myself and neighbor all respect E.P. Wine because they are always honest with their prices. During the ice storm of 2008 they were one of the only companies that would deliver when my family needed it most. If you are looking for a propane company to trust and depend on E.p. wine always delivers. I highly recommend them.
privacy EP WINE, of Barre MA, illegally gave out my personal information of my propane bill for the last year. They were not given my permission ,this person received a print out of how many gallons I purchased and what I paid. What are my legal rights ?
Bunch of jerks EP Wine is the absolute worst gas company I have ever dealt with. Not only have they let me run out of gas a dozen times, this weekend Shad Wells told me it "wasn't worth his time" to come out and rectify me running out of gas. I owed them nothing, and had automatic delivery. It was THEIR FAULT! I told him we would no longer be doing business, and I would return his cylinder, since I didn't want them on my property to come fetch it. Will not give a refund I was a long time customer of EP Wine from 1974 until May 2011 when I cancelled for personal reasons. EP Wine took back from me 1 full propane tank and 1 tank that was half full.I might add that a full tank cost me $150.00 due to a huge price increase right after the ice storm. I called EP Wine & they refuse to give me any refund.I dont recommend this company to anyone.
Overcharging and Under Delivering We have 2 different tanks at our home. One for the house and another for a detached building. Based upon the volume I should have been getting a significant discount. Four years after we stumbled upon this, they would not provide any retroactive rebate.They continually applied checks to the wrong accounts and required repeated calls to fix the challenges.At one point their tanks failed and released 25 gallons of propane. Rude / Arrogant / Condescending Family and friends have all been long time customers of this company. NO MORE. One by one they are all leaving. In fact, haven't heard a good thing about them in years. Office staff (Woman who generally answers the phone) is a rude, condescending, know it all.
