This post is an update. I got a basic pedicure with traditional nail polish here 12 days ago. I still don't have a single chip or flake or crack. Amy is the woman who painted my nails. She did super work!
I do not normally get pedicures but try to treat myself once or twice a year. I had a pedicure last week before my girls trip. The woman who did my pedicure started to cut out an ingrown toenail on my left foot and I expressed to her that it was hurting a lot, in which she proceeded to cut the nail out down to my nail bed and then it began bleeding and continued to bleed throughout my service. I have since developed a terrible infection and severe pain on that toe. I DO NOT recommend and unfortunately will not be returning.
I love pedicures, but financially, they are a treat for me. I came for one today because my callouses and nail length was beginning to hurt when I go hiking. I opted for the most simple pedicure, and i still got a nice leg and foot exfoluation and massage with some great smelling lotion. I also got a hot towel neck massage. Went for an impromptu pedi and 1 of my toes is healing from being broken - the tech was gentle and thorough. At the drying station I was surprised by a neck and shoulder rub. Place is clean and inviting. Will definitely be coming again!
The new owners are amazing I love it there. My nails are so pretty I am definitely going back.
