I had a initial appointment scheduled for 11:00 am. I arrived expecting to fill out paperwork, etc. However there was no staff at the front desk. Around 11:10 the front desk staff arrived and only acknowledged one patient. At 11:40, the provider arrived apologizing. I understand that life happens, however the staff at no point communicated with the patients in the waiting room. At that point I left feeling silly for wasting time.
The new medical assistant is truly exceptional; she possesses excellent communication skills with patients, and I hold her in high regard. I sincerely hope the doctor retains her, as individuals of her caliber are precisely what we desire in the healthcare field.
