RecommendedI had PRK last Friday. The entire process from beginning to end was explained and all my questions were answered. I felt very comfortable. I am so very glad I had this procedure done at Envision.
Extremely easy and comforting process from the very beginning. I used another eye doctor in town prior to my procedure and I will be changing to mtn view because of their courtesy. Dr. Patel is flawless. My procedure took 3 min/eye and I had a "hype-nurse" sitting right next to me talking me through the whole thing. I have generalized anxiety and didn't even need to take anything in addition to my daily dosage because I was soo comfortable with them. Stop waiting and do this!!! Very nice staff, Ben took my original call and was with me for ever step of the way from consultation, during the procedure and walking me out afterwards. The staff during my PRK talked to me and kept me calm explaining every little thing that was going one. It was quick and painless. I'm on day 4 of recovery and my follow up went great, I'm healing ahead of the norm. It's great being able to wakeup and see, truly life changing!! So thank you to all the staff at Envision!!

From the free consultation till POST-surgery, everyone and everything was professional and always a great experience. All the staff from Mountain View Eye and the members of Laser Envision Center is how all staff should operate. I’ve not once thought or even heard of a bad experience from either places. I have had the best experience with the envision staff. It was awesome to get to know Deb at the Altoona office. She is friendly, and she will answer the phone anywhere to answer any questions. I recommend anyone going for lasik to go to envision in Altoona! It will be totally worth it!! It’s worth the money to get it done. Dr. Patel and his co-workers are amazing at what they do!! They will talk you through the surgery which is awesome!

I am 2 months out from my surgery and am so extremely pleased with the results!!! My vision was a -5.5 when I went in on January 11th. I went home and took a nap, woke up and could see!! There was a tiny adjustment period that lasted a couple of weeks but now my vision is absolutely crystal clear!! The whole process was a breeze, from start to finish. Ben in registration fit me into a packed schedule to suit my work schedule. I am so happy that I made this decision to free myself from contacts and glasses!!!
