I take my son to Dr. Billmayer and we have been very happy. She also took the time to help him find frames that would fit his face nicely. They have made repairs to his frames at no charge. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
I really like Dr. Billmayer She knew exactly the correct contact lens to prescribe. I've never been to a more thorough Dr. She was very kind and know exactly how to complete an eye exam. My vision has never been this clear and I've been wearing glasses for over 20 years. Dr. Billmayer introduced me contact lens that actually suited my eyes and I have been using it ever since they are highly breathable and I can even wear them to bed. In 40 years of going to optometrists, she is the first one with the expertise to actually prescribe glasses that work for me. She takes a great deal of time, answers all questions, and makes helpful recommendations. My wife has had eye problems, and we find her more successful at treating her than much higher priced ophthalmologists. She is truly superb.
Dr. Billmayer gave me a thorough eye exam and I was extremely satisifed with her explanations of my eye porblems. My glasses and contacts are perfect. Even though I dont live in Virginia I will purposely go there again for an exam.
I had informed Dr. Billmayer that dilating my eyes makes me incredibly sick and told her I did not want that done because I had tickets to a show that very evening. My husband was being examined at the same time I was and we both heard her say she didnt feel I needed to be dilated. She did say I needed moisture drops. After I picked out my glasses the assistant took me back for what I thought were moisture drops - they werent.
