STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Their pruning guys did a fine job of trimming our tree down, but their office staff is horrible. They have zero communication, change appointment times without checking with the customer (prior to appointment day). On the day of the appointment, they kept telling me that the guys were on their way, 15 mins away etc., but they were lying the whole time. I went onto home advisor and requested quotes for tree care. Environmental Tree Care LLC was one of the businesses that came up as an option. I received a phone call from them the following day and they left a voicemail. I did not contact them back to schedule an appointment for estimate. A man showed up at my house unannounced, uninvited and LIED to my underage daughter about me missing their calls and an appointment. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They are negligent, dishonest, and unprofessional! Environmental Tree Care came out in June and trimmed our large silver maple. They put three holes in our roof! The arborist didn't tell us (even though apparently he DID know about it), and we had to find out the hard way: As we were sitting in our living room after it had been raining all day, water started pouring through our ceiling. I hired a crew from Environmental Tree Care to cut down my cottonwood in my backyard very close to my house. Josh (the one who actually did the climbing and cutting), Dakota and Zak did their job professionally and left the place as before - minus the cottonwood. They were very courteous and I was very pleased with the job they did. I will make sure to use this company again if the need arises.

I am writing to report unethical business practices by Environmental Tree Care, LLC of 1199 S Pierce Street, Lakewood, CO. Project involved: Removal of a Cottonwood, Cut down of Elm with branches removed and remainder cut to 15 inch lengths, and trim of an Ash of all dead wood. I obtained pricing from five tree services. Environmental Tree Care pricing was within half a percent of the next lowest bidder. It took 2 calls to get an appointment to quote our trimming job, everything after that went smoothly. The owner, who did the quote, was very honest and informative about options. It was quoted to be a 3 hour job, but only took 2 hours. Still the cost was very competitive. Joe Dumas' crew was superb. I would rehire him in an instant. They showed up right on time and carefully maneuvered all limb drops away from any vegetation and young trees below. Cleanup left yard and driveway better than when they came. Got an estimate, and accepted. Was told in a follow-up call they only schedule on Friday. Got scheduled for 9/14/16 early afternoon. I returned from S. CO the day before to move stuff and be available for the appointment. Called on 9/14/16 to get firm time. Was told they had a big job for City of Denver that was taking more time than scheduled, and wanted me to reschedule.
