I got a new grinder pump installed (DH454474) in 2013 in our new house we moved in Oct’13 and then in 2/19/2016 a capacitor was blown, which I got it repaired. And today 4/1 /2018 it broke again and when the specialist opened it he said it is completely rotten so need a full replacement. That is an expensive piece of equipment that doesn’t last long. Very disappointed and we are probably the most careful people with regards to what goes into the sewage.
New e-one pump installed in 2004 with a new house. Now, in 2017, over 13 years and no problems with the e-one pump or alarm panel. In that same 13 years, my (other vendor's) sump pump failed 6 times, my A/C condensate pump failed twice. But the E-one outlasted them all. Within the first 2 years, I noticed the front lawn always wet and spongy about 15-20 feet away from the E-one unit. ZERO stars. Do NOT use/buy this system. We built a new home 2.5 yrs ago with an E-one system. I found sewage bubbling up through manhole cover in my front yard yesterday. Turns out this pump failed awhile ago and alarm failed/never went off. Have been told it's not under warranty (2 yr).
