OMG where do I start as some say RUN and don’t WALK yes RUN and don’t WALK. From a horrible home that needed extensive work to horrible staff. We paid application fees $40, lived under shackman for like two months all a sudden someone comes knocking at our door saying they was called state wide properties that shackman had lost all their properties due to not paying taxes. STAY AWAY FROM SHAKMAN. A complete waste of time and money. We hadn't even moved in and our place was invested with roaches.

Worst rental experience my wife and I ever had. The first day we moved in the ceiling collapsed during a thunderstorm and water poured into the kitchen. It took over a week for them to come out and fix it. Later on our neighbors in the duplex were known drug dealers and had violent parties where windows would be smashed out. The Shakman's did nothing about this after repeated complaints and police visits. The could have easily kicked them out for breaking their lease with police evidence but chose not to.
