I had a great experience overall. I was picked up at home for the rental and there were no hidden fees (though my insurance company was paying and I opted to not add additional insurance - as that was expensive!).
This is a second time that I have rented a car and I asked to not have any charges that would be a surprise to me. Well, I did have over $200 of extra charges with insurance. There are 3 different insurances that they will charge you with. I have tried to get someone to work with me on removing these costs and tho my son was with me I am having NO LUCK. Check with your car insurance before you leave as most insurances WILL COVER you when you rent a car. I didn't know that before renting!
