I made a first time visit to Dr. Young H An, MD on September 6, 2024. My visit as others have noted here was less than 10 minutes of facetime with the doctor. He quickly explained that I would need to do a at-home sleep study. I mentioned that my nose sometimes gets blocked on 1 side when I go to sleep. So he casually said, "Oh, yea - let's take a look. Rip off business! Stay away! I was there for 7 minutes and my bill was triple what I was confirmed at first without me knowing or signing in any service!
*Edited since I received my bill* I was charged for a sinus procedure so the doctor could take a camera and look in my nose / throat for 30 seconds. I was not asked if this was something I wanted to elect into or informed that there would be the additional cost at the time of my appointment. When I called billing to inquire about the charge, they told me that I signed something that was in my paperwork that agreed to the charge, should the doctor use the equipment.
