After several visits with Poornima Kunani, MD, we ultimately decided to move our daughter’s care elsewhere. At a recent appointment, I brought my daughter in because I suspected a UTI. Instead of focusing on that concern, Dr. Kunani spent several minutes lecturing me about rewarding children with food after I mentioned my daughter gets a small ice cream when she has a bowel movement. Dr Chhabra performed my 3 level ACDF surgery. He is professional, meticulous, kind and thorough. When i had my pre op he explained everything making me feel more at ease. He has a great neuro team in the operating room assisting him. I am now 8 weeks post op & feel wonderful. I can't say enough good things about him. Having a major surgery is always a scary decision but being done by Dr Chhabra was a blessing for Me.
She was 35 minutes late. Did not apologize. She was not helpful. She told me my spare common with my age. Didn’t offer any solutions. The worst experience at Kaiser.
My pen** was excessively stretched and crushed during an external ultrasound. While crushing my glans with reckless force, she pulled my pen** so far away from my body, she had no idea what she was doing. No one in their right mind would smash and yank a pen** like that. I was referred to Santa Rosa Mental Health Services IOP. I found this program relies on forcing patients to endure practitioners reading the text from their slide decks to profoundly bored patients in order to access useful group therapy interactions with other patients, 4 days a week for 8 weeks. Twice each day, we were read, or had to read aloud a threatening list of requirements. No compassion. Dr. Chen was the initial oncologist for my uncle who was diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Chen's language towards my uncle and myself was very condescending during the appointment. My uncle is not a medically literate person and Dr. Chen was not adjusting his language appropriately for him to understand. He continuously referred to the research material he added to my uncle's visit summary instead of answering questions such as 'what treatment is recommended for my cancer'.
