My sienna was continuously indicating active engine light. I took it to toyota garage in saskatoon. I was told that transmission has a problem and some oxygen sensors need replacement. Actually, the problem was with catalytic converter and it was needed to be replaced. Down the road, they admitted that, in diagnostic system, catalytic converter will come in the end after replacement of all 4 oxygen sensors, which can cost more than D 1500 and after that also, if the engine light is still on. 1.5 hours for a buddy to drop his car off for service. What the hell happened?
I work weird shifts, so I booked my oil change/flush weeks in advance to be on my day off and done by noon. It wasn't done by noon. They don't answer their phones. They finally called me at 4pm to say it was "almost done" and the driver would come pick me up. I briefly thought I might be able to get to some of the other errands I had planned for my day off.
