Had Enphase solar system & battery for just over 6 months. Have had ongoing issues with gateway not reporting. Customer service and tech support is hopeless - I ring multiple times and eventually the issue gets fixed only for it to stop working again. No local customer service. Wish we had gone with a different product.
Enphase have taken months and months to get back to us about transmitters that aren’t working, we have missed out on all our solar power and not using our batteries at all. It seems hard as they are an American company and any repairs need to go through an extremely long process to get approved. Hope we get our solar working soon but so far there hasn’t been much communication or help.
Worked with Enphase for about 4 years now. Have had next to no issues with the product and the support team is very responsive if required.
I am so over the enphase reporting. It is just so so common to have the ubiquitous “Not able to Connect (Try Again)” message whenever you want to get a status on whether it’s worth starting your appliances to run. I have no idea whether they’re producing minimal power or the system is completely down or something else. There are alerts issued as to when the system may be coming down, but they are in UTC time. I shopped this project hard and was recommended to Enphase by one of the other best rated solar companies in SA as best able to deal with my tricky site. I found their sales process to be honest, transparent, fast, clear and able to deal with my complex shade issues. Their install was well communicated, professional, friendly and clean. Their sales process is in stark contrast to some other companies which I found very commission driven. I don't often give 5 stars, but Enphase were faultless. Great experience.
