Absolutely the best. Amazing food, atmosphere, attitudes... I cannot say enough good things about this place. You will need to make reservations a few weeks in advance due to its size but it is the perfect mixture of intimacy and creativity. Our favorite restaurant in Providence by far! My husband and I have been twice and both times have been unbelievably delicious.
Following a recommendation from a good friend, my girlfriend and I came for our anniversary dinner. The service was as outstanding as the food. We will be coming back every chance we have an excuse to.
Absolutely one of the best restaurants i have been to. The food is incredible, fresh and delicious. The owner is gracious, personable and actually explains what you are eating and where it comes from. Would hands down recommend this restaurant for a great night of food and service.

This was the best Italian I've ever eaten, no question. Not only is the food outstanding, but the service is impeccable. Umberto suggested wine pairings and entree choices that were excellent and he treated everyone like friends and family, even calling fellow Italian patrons "cousin." Amazing! The owner sits down with you to explain the menu and make recommendations for courses and wine pairings. The true Italian experience you are looking for on Federal Hill. Call ahead for reservations as it can take a week to get the time you want - we were lucky to get same night reservations at 730 sitting outside.
