An eleven hour wait in the emergency room. Highly unacceptable then finally given a room with no definitive answers to diagnosis. Lack of communication is high here. At this point I am seriously disgusted with Enloe. You know your patients are people to.
The staff were incredibly kind and understanding of my situation. They treated me with respect and sympathy. All the people who helped me made my situation be as stress-free as possible. Thank you Enloe!
I went to Enloe for uncontrollable pain my doctor on call said to go in they can do some tests and help me. I went there in March and the doctor was amazing did tests knew I was in excruciating pain he was amazing. Last night the doctor was not. I went to the ER around 9 from Corning I could barely lay back in the car. I can’t sit my back pain has stopped everything. it is a monopoly, so you are treated like you need them, they don't need you. Takes over 9 months to see certain specialists. Lots of re-cycled "Chico is my hometown" nurses, techs, and doctors, so not a lot of best practices being brought into our community.
My son and I had a really poor experience at the ER. He was referred to Enloe ER by Enloe Prompt Care for testing that only the ER could do, so we felt we had to go in order to rule out a serious medical concern that was preventing Enloe Prompt Care from treating him. He was also in a lot of pain and needed treatment. The Enloe ER doctor refused to do the test but did treat his symptoms.
