Dr. Lela is the third Functional Medicine practitioner I have seen and the only one I recommend. The first two were worthless and a waste of my time and money. FINALLY, I have found someone who has the medical background to not only use comprehensive labwork, but to really understand it and make recommendations that make a difference. Dr Lela is a breath of fresh air from the helplessness I felt after chasing a diagnosis or explanation of why I continued to have many unexplained symptoms for 20+ years! Although I have only been under her care for a short time, my energy and brain function have improved as well as my mental health. I finally have diagnostic evidence for the cause of my issues and a treatment plan that has actually made a difference. I highly recommend giving her a chance to help you!
