I contacted this place prior o transferring from St. Louis. 2 February 2026. My company Vitas Hospice transferred them all the information and they were supposed to have the bed by Feb 14, the day of our arrival. They never called me. I had to reach out. They acted like they could not understand me. I’d call Vitas back. They would call them and call me back and say everything was in order. Saturday no bed no call. I reached out to this company before coming into town to be sure that my 96 year old grandmother would have sufficient care and needs met before transitioning. I was told that it would be no problem after giving insurance info. Being that it was a late notice I was told my grandmother would have an assessment the following Monday before getting a bed delivered. Monday came and no bed or assessment. I was a caregiver for a patient that choose Enhabit. I can honestly say each hospice team member I met was extremely kind, patient, and supportive, of both the patient and the family/caregivers. They were also wonderful with symptom management (from anxiety and pain to UTIs) Enhanit also had members (both spiritual and social workers) that came out not only for the patient but for family members as well. When it comes to your loved ones you want the very best! Enhabit is just that the best. They are true professionals who takes the time to listen to your concerns. When it came to decision they always asked our thoughts before acting. I couldn’t have asked for better people to take care of my mom. They are available 24 hours and yes they call back immediately. This was our 3rd company and they are the best. Thank you Shannon, Loretta, Zack and Shelby for always making my mom smile.
