Loved the atmosphere, drinks were excellent, soup and salad were amazing but unfortunately our main course was not worth the money we paid for it. I ordered the seafood Alfredo and it was okay but not great, my husband ordered ribs that he barely touched. Way too much sauce and very fatty, definitely not worth the price he paid. We were really bummed as we had been here for lunch a few years back and the food was excellent, this time not so much. The English Inn is my absolute favorite place to dine in Door County! I love the delicious appetizers and entrees, especially the white fish dishes. The cocktails are great. I enjoy the cozy, relaxed ambiance. The touches of medieval decor are fun. I make sure to have dinner there every time I'm up in Door County. I celebrated my birthday there with my family last summer, and we all had a great time! I would definitely recommend The English Inn to family and friends as a "must" when vacationing in Door County!
The English Inn in Fish Creek. Is one of the finest places for fine dining In Door County ... it offers a semi formal atmosphere of quiet dining in comfortable and aesthetically pleasing surroundings; great menus and nightly specials plus a warm and friendly staff to make your evening enjoyable.
Wait for 60 mins to be seated even though there were empty tables. We don't drink, but I guess they were trying the old "must have two drinks before we seat you" thing. We will never go back. Too many places we haven't been to before we waste our time on these dirtbags again.
The atmosphere is really amazing, both inside and outside! The food is absolutely fantastic! So yummy!!! The staff is very helpful and friendly! We eat there every time we come up to Door County! It's definitely one of the highlights of our getaway! �
I go here every year to celebrate my birthday. Always perfect food. Never disappointed.
First time going for New Years Eve. We have been going here for years. Usually twice a year. The Beef Wellington is the best in Wisconsin. We have enjoyed many menu choices. I won't say we haven't had perfect service every time, but the management made it right the one time about 7-8 years ago. Love this place. Will be back again.
