This place is a rip off! Bob English, the owner, treated my wife and i with such disrespect, made me pay 300$ on top of the 5000$+ i already paid for the car, to have a drivable automobile! Transmission shifting erratically second day i owned it. Tailights didnt work when i drove off the lot. Said he would fix check engine light, still on. Just picked up our next car. Love it! Would go back to English Auto again.
Drove the potential SUV, threw a bunch of codes while driving it, car ran poorly. Told me that it never happened before on this vehicle.......odd in my opinion.
Good to me!! Had a car I was interested in. After a test drive we herd a noise under the hood. No problem at all. Took it to the shop to get fixed no change in price. Had to be fixed to my satisfaction before I could buy it. Let me know what was fixed and when it would be done. This was a $$$$ ac compressor replacement. So as I said good to me!!
Go some place else. In There own ads it says this vehicle is already inspected and passed inspection and I took a picture of his ad so he could not say that was not true after he changes it. Then we go to hi place a good hours drive to buy it and pay for it. But we are delayed and it was NOT inspected then we are Lied to by the Owner about this vehicle. very welcoming and easy to work with. They will go out of their way to find you the car you want.
Nice guy and decent amount of cars. We purchased 2 from his lot about 2 years ago both still running above 240k miles. I feel like they use the dead battery as an excuse to hide trouble lights. Never said anything about check engine light, but if disconnect a battery and reconnect it the light won't come on right away. The mechanic there is a piece of work and doesn't know much of anything. If you buy a car there test drive it first no exceptions and I'd stick to the newest models.
We bought a vehicle their and immediately encountered problem after problem.. 1st was a battery drain which i believe they knew about. If you didn't start it twice a day it wouldn't start.. Engine problems, and a cracked frame that we didn't find out about till later.. It was a clean looking vehicle with little rust, and average miles… The kind of vehicle that's easy to sell but it was and still is a real LEMON…
Salesman was very helpful in finding a vehicle to fit our budget. He was friendly without being pushy. He did not have the vehicle we were looking for but called us within a few days with a car that we were happy with and purchased.
