I was taken to the Englewood ER for a motorcycle accident .informed them I had head injurys my shoulder was broken and I couldn’t breath they asked if I had insurance.I informed them I had none.I was looked at by several people and was told I had a broken collar bone and abrasions over my whole body. RecommendedEverything has changed their ppl actually take such great care of you my mom has been twice in May and from ER to being admitted I have no complaints but I do admit a couple of yrs ago I would never step foot in there yay for change 👍
I recently stayed 4 days in Englewood Community Hospital and was very impressed with the staff services, the kind nurses and hospital doctor. I didn't expect the good food too. If another surgery is necessary in the future, I would choose this hospital again.
If you are not having life threatening issues then drive to a different hospital. My boyfriend and I were there and got the worst care ever. They stuck us in a fast track room that had dried up blood on the floor, trash and a giant hair ball on the ground. The ER doctor never examined either of us after being in a car accident. My boyfriend's ankle was swollen and the doctor glanced down out it and said yeah you probably hurt it. They gave us prescriptions to take with us. As a nursing student, I was assigned ECH as my first semester clinical location.. After that semester I requested to come back. Every employee I have encountered took the time to explain or included me in every aspect of patient care. I am very fortunate to have trained here and I hope to soon be part of the team.
This hospital was a JOKE! I've never been so insulted by a doctor in my life. He came in the room, asked me what's wrong, said your not dying and this is emergency room, go to your doctor, this on a Friday night at 6:30pm with my blood pressure 179/88 and my extremedies swollen. All because I had lost my job several weeks earlier and hadn't replaced my insurance yet. When I was in there 2 years ago WITH insurance they wouldn't let me leave, and STILL did nothing to help me. I had my gallbladder removed today! The staff is awesome.
I went to the ER on Sunday after church. I had been having a "tightness" in my abdomen, back, and face. I was immediately taken to the back, they had no room in the cubicles so I was put on a gurney in the hallway. The nurse immediately asked a few questions then an EKG was taken, blood work was taken, then space became available in the back. I was told that I would wait another two hours and have another EKG taken. The doctor came in after reading the EKGs and said I would stay for overnight observation. This eased the worr... read more
