When your equipment operates almost exclusively on hard surfaces such as pavement, asphalt, or concrete, install tires rated for hard surface use to get the longest life, best performance, and greatest return on your investment.

What is the “max press” number on the sidewall of my tire? Many people mistakenly believe that is the point at which your tires are at risk of bursting. Instead, max pressure is the proper pressure for your tires to be able to handle the heaviest loads.

Inspect the rims of tires on your equipment regularly for signs of damage. The rough terrain you have to travel, even at low speeds, can cause dents in the rim that interfere with proper bonding with the tire.

Trailer tires are speed-rated. Most maximum speeds for trailers are 65 miles per hour because of the heat building up inside the tire. Too much built up heat can cause the tire to fail. We can talk with you about the proper speed rating for your tires.
