We had a mold issue caused by improper venting of appliances into a chimney flue. The mold remediation company referred me to Walter Nelms. We wanted the appliances properly vented, and not through the chimney. Here's what happened: 2/1/24 left voicemail with Walter 2/2/24 call Walter again, no answer 2/7/24 called Engineered Comfort (Walter's company) they said Walter would have to fix it, they would pass message along 2/19/24 called Engineered Comfort asking if there was any word from Walter, and was told there wasn't. If they offered a zero stars, that is what I would give Engineered Comfort and the owner Walter Nelmes. My builder used them to install 2 HVAC systems in our new home in 2012. We spent 2 summers in multiple meetings with our builder and Mr Nelmes to correct AC that would often not cool either floor under 78 or 79. Walter is full of pontification explaining his reasoned inadequacies. The bottom line is , 7 years later, we are spending $10,000 adding an additional 2 ton unit to cool properly...additionally we are having to now... read more
