I recently hired Engineered Alarm via their principal Gabriel to complete an alarm system upgrade. Gabriel was very professional and provided prompt service to complete the contract. I purchased a Qolsys IQ4 panel and they made quick work of replacing the old system and programming the new system. They got the new system up and running with the existing wiring in 2-3 hours. My experience with EAS was superb! Our original security system had been migrated to a major telco when our original alarm company was bought out in 2019. By end of 2024, we needed to replace our system, as it was old technology (3G). Our needs included a push-button arming station for a family member with a physical disability, to continue to allow independence to come and go from our home at will. From our initial contact with Gabriel it was a pleasure to deal with him. He is an extremely professional and a knowledgeable person. His team of technicians came to mount the TV and install our speakers and Sonos amp at our condo. The team was extremely careful while they worked in the condo being mindful of our new renovations at all times. They drilled holes and cut dry walls but we could hardly tell all this was done. Gabriel Reina, Principal of the company, is very knowledgeable. Communicating with him is outstanding either by phone or email. I had meetings with him at my house to discuss my needs and I found him to be very punctual. He layer out different options which were followed by an email outlining material needed, removing old system, installing new system and the cost.
