I contacted Engine Man in search of a low mileage engine with the intentions of having the installation done at a local repair shop. However, after speaking with Pete and being offered by far the best deal for the motor, labor and warranty, I choose to allow Engine Man to complete the engine installation as well as other miscellaneous repairs to my vehicle. I had a very bad engine leak on my 2001 civic EX (177k milleage) a couple of months ago and I went to a random car shop. The price of fixing the engine offered to me was very high and after some research and consulting with a car mechanic on my car condition, he recommended that I replace the entire engine if work ever needed to be done on my car. Im a single mother of two, and when I heard the strange noise from my car, my friend said" That sounds like your transmission! , I was terrified because Im not in a position to deal with an expense like this right now.
