Hello, im an owner of a "project" 1989 jeep comanche. I have one of the 2008 Honda Civics that was given a 10 year engine block extended warranty due to possible cracks in the block. My engine block cracked at 11.5 years and 150,000 miles so Honda would not repair it. About a year ago i had a 98 civic that was having some serious issues. I took my car to a conventional shop got a quote I was not satisfied with. I was then recommended to check out engine experts. I had my truck towed there with a broken flywheel - not knowing that for sure, but I trusted Jimmy and his team to fix it based on the reviews i read on line while stranded on the road -i had to make a decision and didnt know who to trust. Jimmy and his team have been tremendous in helping to replace an engine in my son's Jeep Cherokee. The engine is running terrific and really appreciate Jimmy's attention to detail. I took my ’05 Jeep Wrangler to Engine Experts to fix a loud squealing problem on start up. I’m a shade tree mechanic and had already pulled the serpentine belt to make sure it wasn’t the alternator, idler pulley, a/c or steering pump. I was out of ideas and feared I needed a new engine. I do a lot of my own work and I have a hard time trusting any conventional mechanic shops, including dealerships. I wouldn't call myself a mechanic but I'm often stunned with the lack of knowledge at other shops in the area.
