If you think Duke Energy is bad, this company is even more HORRID.... employees are absolute ignorant and rude. They cut your power off 15 days after the bill is due and send a disconnect notice 2 days after your recieve your bill. Energy rates are higher than duke energy. Im selling my house due to these rats. Not living under this trash. Ive filed a complaint with the NCSUC and state attorney generals office for unlawful billing practices.

I've used Energyunited for years and never had a problem. My power doesn't go out during storms, their response is prompt and quick for anything, and customer service has always assisted with any issues with billing. I've been pleased and thankful with the service here.
I've used Energy United for years, both at my current home and in past rental apartments. Not once have I ever had a problem. Obviously, it sucks if the power goes out. It sometimes does after a storm, because a tree falls on some lines, but that's not Energy United's fault. The number of times power has gone out for seemingly no reason (on a clear, sunny day or something like that) has only been 4 times in the past ten years.
