Energy Savers put a metal roof on my house 2 years ago and it leaked badly when they finished. They came back twice to fix the problem, the first time they re-caulked the perimeter flashing on the dormer which did nothing to slow the leak because it was already well caulked. When it leaked profusely a couple of days later they pulled some metal up caulking under the metal! Metal roofs don't leak by their design and should only ever need caulking on the perimeter of any protrusions through the roof like a chimney or a dorm... read more
