Had 3 auto loans thru energy one, just refinanced one of my cars thru them back in January 2026. Try to make a principal payment March 2026 and they tell me it’s a $10 dollar fee for a principal payment. Yall already making money off interest on the loan so why can’t I make a principal payment without a fee.

Got approved for 5.99 and told them in that process I was looking for a 3/4 ton truck. When I gave him my vin a week later the interest jumped to .5% and he said because it was a 3/4 ton truck. I don’t think these guys have a clue on what to do for loans and how to communicate. I am really aggravated because I now have a had inquiry for no reason. Won’t do business with them and will tell guys I work with the same. Get better
