I gave Enecare, the company that supplied my water heater, a glorified kettle, to my home for six years because we had no difficulty with it. However, I would not recommend anyone to rent a water heater. I paid around 40$ a month all that time, way over 4000$ when they can be purchased for 600-1600 plus installation.
