I was referred to Dr. Madden after my dentist was unable to complete a root canal. I was dreading the appt., but I worried for nothing. He was super friendly and efficient. He was able to clear the canal that my dentist had a problem with and even found a 4th canal that my dentist didn't see. My dad was a dentist, and I know that Dr. Madden's fee is the going rate for a root canal. Nobody is happy to have a root canal, but if I need another one, I'll be happy to see Dr. Madden again.
Dr. Madden got me in right away for a root canal I was dreading. He and his assistant made me so comfortable I was completely at ease for the procedure. I thought there would be a lot of pain with the needle since it was a front tooth, but there was no pain at all. He kept me laughing and was very thorough explaining everything that he was doing. I had the root canal yesterday and today my tooth feels like normal. It was a really good experience and I highly recommend him.
Dr. Madden has been one of my favorite providers out of many I've seen over the years. His professional, caring demeanor and relaxing office put me completely at ease. He did two root canals and crowns in my mouth and I've had no problems whatsoever with those since. Excellent dentist, highly recommended.
Very friendly doctor--put me at ease! The view of north portland from the office was also very therapeutic! The staff was efficient, and seemed to understand the importance of timeliness!
Dr has good chairside technique, and sucessful procedure. Office staff worst I've ever encountered...paranoid and heavy handed when it comes to money. I've been a patient of Lloyd area dentists for over 30 years, yet treated like a panhandler off the streets. Won't use again.
