Former primary care doctor referred me for an unnecessary appointment with Dr. Shahzad Ahmad, who then (after telling me I didn't need the first appointment) automatically scheduled a follow up. Discovered recently that I've paid for that first specialist visit 3 times, but continue to receive past due notices from Endocrinology Center of Utah/ Dr. Shahzad Ahmad.

This office is a complete scam... the service is terrible from everyone and the worst thing is that I received a bill, I paid it and now they are charging me back, I have sent my proof of payment to all the email addresses, Nobody answers me back, I call the office and they don't answer, today I managed to get someone to answer me to give me the number of the bill department, I called and they answered me very rudely that it was the number for emergencies that the bill department is until 4 and that lady cut off the phone...... read more

I was seeking a second opinion and really liked the doctor. He was a little rushed and self important but knowledgeable. His nurse was horrible to work with. When I asked her to resubmit to insurance and help me navigate the process of approval, she hung up on me. She gate keeps the doctor and is horribly unprofessional. A year later and I’m no longer a patient there.

I usually do not like to go to the doctors, in fact I avoid any visit. After having my third baby I had a difficult time loosing the baby weight. I have tried everything and felt like a failure. They worked with me to help me loose weight, helped me prevent metabolic syndrome, and have improved my overall health. Most important for the first time I did not feel embarrassed talking about my weight with a physician. I was treated with respect and kindness, this was a great experience!

Such a waste of my time. I was misdiagnosed twice and if I had done what they wanted I would be dead. My regular doctor fixed the situation for me real quick and made sure I was going to be doing better. Be careful about going here.
