ZERO RATING. Please DO NOT send anyone you love or care about to this facility if they require medical help. They say they are a hospital but I did not experience one qualified nurse or doctor. They only care about hitting their goals and have no compassion or care whatsoever for human life. The care for my mother was negligent and caused her death. RecommendedI can not say enough positive things about this facility. I spent several weeks there after being in the hospital for 2 months. I received the best of care. I am a nurse, so I expect things to be done correctly and encompass surpassed my expectation. Every nurse I had was great, the CNA, dietary. Didn’t matter if it was the day shift or night shift. Everyone is awesome. As for the OT and PT....They are AMAZING !!!!!.... they worked me hard but I’m grateful. They became family to me. I do not have a bad word to say about this... read more
My mother was admitted to this facility after a stroke and I am just grateful she made it out alive. Upon entering the rehab my mothers teeth were stolen, she developed uncontrolled diarrhea for a entire week, she developed a UTI and waiting a whole week before receiving antibiotics, she had 2 syncope events in addition to getting out of her wheelchair alarm and walked down the hallway ( thank good did not fall and break her hip ). Everyone has been exceptional. They all JUST really care.. My husband now has Encompass Home health. And twice we had times they were here just in time of need. Once we had to go back to hospital. The other we didn’t need to. but she wouldn’t leave till we were comfortable with the situation... We are so grateful for Encompass. 5 + stars
I just recently stayed there for 3 weeks. it is 1/4 Rehabilitation center I've been to in 7 months and is by far the best. The nursing staff andwas outstanding both the day and night shifts were very attentive and knowledgeable. Special attention goes to a night Nurse I had for 10 days her name was Sally she was outstanding over the top, one of a kind. This place... I have no words. They are phenomenal!!! I've been twice. I just got discharged 10/18/18. Last year I had Scott and Kim on the Purple team. They were so patient with me. Being 24 at the time, they gave me hope I had a life to live. This second time I had Sony and Allie on Orange team. Sony pushed me to do better. I loved having her as my PT and she helped me reach my realistically goals I set for myself. As for Allie, lol, she is an awesome OT. She let me reach my goals for my independence as well. They took wonderful care of my father
My 87yr old father was lucky to be a candidate for Health South’s Rehab program after spending 2 weeks in the hospital from acute renal failure. He undergoes 3.5 hours (5 sessions) of physical, occupational and mental acuity therapy daily and the results have been nothing short of a miracle! He is rapidly rebuilding physical strength, confidence, and the ability to mobilize himself all while undergoing in-room dialysis 3 days a week.
