I got approved for Quail Woods on June 3rd I moved in June 29th and not once did anybody tell me there was a roach infestation. Had I known this I would HAVE NEVER MOVED IN. once I got all of my belongings to the home I noticed toothpaste had been used to fill cracks. The whole frame of the living room Window is cracked really bad so when it rains the water comes straight in. Do not waste your time or your money! The staff is the most unprofessional and unfriendly I have ever encountered! They will not help you with any problems! You are on your own...as said to me by the property manager!
Office and Maintenance staff has always been very helpful and responded in a timely manner. I am very happy with my apartment.
My best advice to anyone looking for an apartment would be to keep looking. This place is a joke! Maintenance NEVER completely fixes anything, they just put a bandaid on it. Don't get use to anyone in the office they cannot keep employees. Every month you go in to pay your RENT you see new faces that have NO clue what is going on. If you end up calling southwood realty they could care less about your complaints! Parking is a Nightmare! They have more residents than parking spots.There on site playground is disgusting!! Terrible place to rent. Odors in apartments. No communication. False incorrect information at the time of signing contract. Hidden costs when you leave apartments. Poor communications from the office staff.
The only thing nice I can say about this place is that I have met some really nice people. It is in a great location and the schools are awesome...well, that's about it. The people in the office can care less about their residents and their safety and concerns. I have lived in these apartments for almost 2 years. My dog was injured due to poor landscaping maintenance and I had to pay over $2,000 for my pet injuries and the only thing I got from the owner(s) was that I was a bad and irresponsible pet owner. I lived here when I was 18, in 2012. They would not spray for roaches, the Hispanic family had 7 kids and all played soccer against my house, they wouldn't do anything about it. When I moved out they charged me every single fee there was to charge. I now have 1000 on my credit from them being complete jerks. DONT LIVE HERE. You cannot "fix" it
My kids and I have lived at Walden Landing Apartments in Hampton, GA for 7 months now. I just discovered termites swarming from multiple holes in the apartment and the storage unit outside. I have complained to management and corporate numerous times. 16 days later they send an exterminator who discovers the termites are coming through cracks throughout the foundation. Now management will not let me move to another or end the lease early.
These apartments are run by heartless, soulless, people. I was caring for my mother who just passed away from pancreatic cancer, and these monsters threw me, my two year old son, and my autistic brother out on the streets barely 12 hours after her passing, and wouldn't even let us get all of our belongings out. They made fun of us, laughed at us, and even brought the police with them. We always paid the rent on time, never caused any problems, and we're never a nuisance.
