Dr Almquist and her staff are friendly, efficient,and very caring as well as extremely knowledgeable about our dog’s problems and quickly communicating findings and solutions. I highly recommend Encino Park Veterinary Clinic!

We had a “puppy got into medicine” mishap and they were kind, nonjudgmental and attentive. They took amazing care of our Lilly while I spent the day freaking out and ugly-crying! So happy we found a “forever vet home” in our neighborhood.

Let me start with how impressed I am with Dr. Krista Wilkerson and the whole staff at Encino Park Veterinary Clinic! From the initial phone call intake to the full visit, this office takes professionalism and kindness to the next level. My pup hurt his leg pretty significantly when he got caught in a gate and I called Encino Park to see if I could be seen as a new patient, emergency, and walk in. They got me in immediately! They were so kind and seemed genuinely happy to care for me and my dog. Dr. Wilkerson was thorough, educated, and so gentle with Rooney. She discussed what bones and ligaments were involved, my treatment options, and what to expect. She even sent out his radiographs to be read by a radiologist! I’ve taken my dogs and animals to dozens of veterinary offices over the course of my life, but this one takes the cake. I’ve already scheduled for all my other dogs to be transferred over to see Dr. Wilkerson! They have patients for life! Thank you!

Dr. Wilkerson and Dr. Almquist have taken such amazing, loving care of our cat Rosie for more than 5 years, since we moved to Texas. We love this clinic and would never take our girl anywhere else. Thank you for always being kind and compassionate animal caregivers!

It was late on a Wednesday afternoon and my regular vet clinic was booked up and couldn’t make room for my fur baby. He had a swollen eyeball that popped up Tuesday but seemed to be getting worse. So I called Encino Park vet clinic because they were close to us. I explained my dog seemed to have a swollen eyeball. She asked if I could be there in 25 minutes, that they could squeeze him in. I had never been to this clinic before but they were willing to fit us in! I had been going to my regular vet for 15 years but they could not squeeze us in! They took great care of my dog and even called the next day to check on him! They were very kind, caring and professional. Dr Wilkerson even called me to let me know it didn’t appear to be anything too serious. Guess we have a new vet clinic!

We love this place. They are so caring and take such great care of our dogs. We have put down two dogs over the years and they have always been SO supportive. We appreciate them so much! Highly recommend.
