I lived at Essex Heights for two years, and I loved it. The location is hard to beat, the grounds are clean, your neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves, and it’s very pet friendly, which was a plus for me. Above all, the best part is the maintenance area — Whatever issue you have, you always get a quick response from the office, a quick turnaround time, and Jorge and his team would even take it upon themselves to fix other items in my unit that they noticed needed adjustment even if I hadn’t noted it in my work order. I used to live here a long time ago, came and visited a friend and did my laundry. They showed me to the laundry room and whoa has it changed. I don’t remember it being this dirty and disgusting. Every washer had caked on mold. The dryers were the most disgusting dryers I’ve ever seen. I used like 20 of their wipes and towards the corners where I could barely get where the fuzz goes is caked on brown dirt mixed with sand mixed with who knows what bacteria that will get all over your “clean” clothes. Essex Heights is a fantastic place to live. It’s a huge complex but you would never know..it’s very quiet and safe. Very pet friendly and family friendly. The managers Ana and Jessica are extremely friendly, helpful and responsive.
