RecommendedIf the line was out the door...don't let that keep you from this seafood experience! It's worth every minute of the wait. The best clam chowder EVER. We also had the shrimp and chips...also the best. The portions are generous, the quality superb. The Fish Shop has raised the bar. I can't wait to make the trip south to experience it again!
RecommendedBest clam chowder I’ve had in a long time. Try the one with I think kielbasa. OMG and the House bbq shrimp or their shrimp and chips are great. I see a lot of people pick a fish and have it fresh grilled in a sandwich. Outdoor patio and bar too. Dog friendly if your pet is ok in restaurants. Some seating on sidewalk too.
RecommendedFound this place last week and their Fish Tacos and Clam Chowder are delightful. Best clam chowder I have had on the West Coast. Great staff that cares about their customers.
RecommendedIf you like FRESH fish, this is the place for you. Fixed in almost any way you could imagine. Fried, grilled, blackened, with or without marinade? On salad, rice or alone. Not expensive either. We put the Encinitas Fish Shop on our regular schedule for eating out. Noisy, loud, but fun and kid friendly. Great staff and kitchen. Go there.
