The food was excellent as well as the entire waitstaff. Had a blast with my family and the other fine folks who were dining there too, a really nice atmosphere. For an experience that is uniquely Idaho, I can't think of a better place to go.
The new owners have the financial capability to keep this landmark going as one of the best places to eat and drink in the NW. The plans for the future are exciting. Ed.
A wonderful piece of Idaho history re- energized by Tom Richards & his fantastic crew! Friday night was " hopping" with great music and a lively crowd. My personal favorite menu items this visit were the huckleberry beer, "to die for"mashed potatoes with the prime rib, and the lemon meringue pie.
The staff is great - very friendly. The food is really good. I enjoyed the prime rib special tonight and it was fantastic. We will be back again. Loved the curtain (and the story behind it).
We went for breakfast and the Chicken Fried Steak was a hit with both my husband and brother in law! He said it was the best he had ever had and he is quite picky! His plate was literally licked clean. Omelets were perfectly cooked! We enjoyed the atmosphere and are super excited to see it open again! Prices were great and so was the service.
